October 25, 2022 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

- $5.00 – $40.00

Behavioral health care law is one of the most interesting and quickly growing areas of health care law. This session will serve as an introduction to behavioral health law in our home state of Arizona and across the country. This 60-minute CLE will cover behavioral health hot topics, including parity, tele-behavioral health reimbursement updates, and interstate compacts, an introduction to 42 CFR Part 2, an introduction to Arizona-specific regulations relevant for behavioral health, a look at the Good Faith Estimate provisions of the No Surprises Act and other price transparency requirements relevant to behavioral health providers and plans, and more.

Erica Erman is is an attorney at Dickinson Wright PLLC practicing health care law with a particular emphasis on behavioral health care law. Her work includes handling administrative hearings, counseling clients with issues related to HIPAA compliance, Stark and AKS, state licensing, contract drafting, and health care business transactions.
