The Corporate Transparency Act: What ALL Businesses Need to Know

March 20 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

- $5.00 – $40.00

Effective January 1, 2024, the CTA requires some 33+ million companies to report their beneficial ownership information to FinCEN.  While this mostly affects previously unregulated businesses with less than 20 full-time employees, exempt companies should still know the CTA basics as their exempt status may change.  Fines of $591/day may be assessed against individual business owners personally so it is important to be sure all companies are in compliance. Please join us for a timely discussion of the CTA and its impacts, including how it affects lawyers, law firms and their clients.
